Oil leak - rear top of engine

Hi folks

I wonder if anyone could shed some light on my oil leak. I have a couple of drops on the garage floor each day. I've been trying to find the source and it seems to be coming from somewhere at the top rear of the engine. Sort of under where the oil filter is. I initially thought it was spillage from when the filter was done, and did a high pressure degrease/wash back there. But its back. If one looks down between all the pipes and whatnot under the carbon fibre cover, one can see a light oil sheen over what I think is the top of the bell housing. The oil then runs down and drips off the gearbox just where the front side shaft exits.

Could this be the cam cover? The car has been de-carboned recently by the previous owner and the leak seems to be since then from what I can tell, but I'm not sure.

Any ideas?

Thanks

my last rs4 had a tiny weep top of nearside timing chain cover-it was a weep though, just damp
i suppose over years/hard use it could develop into a drip
didnt really investigate further as it wasnt needing attention, but by the look of it an engine out job to deal with

Just for future reference here. The leak was the RHS timing chain cover on the rear of the engine. The mechanic managed to fix it by taking out the gearbox rather than the engine. Worked out well in the end as I needed a new clutch anyway.
