Sticky clutch - pipe part number

Post by Duncan_F » Mon Jun 19, 2017 10:59 am

Hi,

Just bought my first RS, a 2006 RS4 in sprit blue on 77k. It seems to be suffering from most of the usual issues which are well covered on this forum and elsewhere, and I'm on the case getting those sorted.
Where I'm getting stuck (pun intended) is the "sticky clutch pepal" issue. There are lots of mentions of either a hydraulic or vacuum pipe between the clutch cylinders on the early cars being a culprit, and a redesigned part potentially being a fix, but my local Audi deal hasn't a clue, and the FAQ on here with part numbers doesn't have it listed that I can see.

Can anyone help me with identifying exactly what pipe needs changing, or even better, where to source it?

I realise ultimately a new clutch may be needed, but I will try and change the easy parts (slave cylinder and pipes) first as the car is on the ramps for a brake changes anyway.

Thanks in advance.
