The brake pedal is a bit mushy and since the car is about 10 yrs old I figure it's time to fit some braided hoses to keep the brakes going.
Has anyone fitted either brands and what's your feedback on them ?

I've got HEL and they didn't make much difference. Having said that my rs4 pedal feel is the same as the rs6 when it was new so must be how it should be. The rs3 feels much different and almost pits me through the windscreen when I use it.

I've had both and have HELs at present. Both are top quality.
When I bled my brakes the last time, I flushed the fluid through twice. 1st, full flush then drove for 20 to 30 miles, then the next weekend flushed it through the 2nd time. I used 3 litres of Ferodo DOT 5.1 brake fluid, a lot but you should see the crap that comes out. This really made a big difference to the braking. The pedal is now rock hard and very responsive.

I've just fitted HEL, they're good quality and reasonably priced. Pedal feel has improved a little.
