My Recently Aquired Daytona Grey RS4

Post by DarkAvenger » Wed Apr 26, 2017 8:38 pm

Hi, got this last month - removed the DRC and fitted Bilstein B14s, fully serviced inc plugs, transmission fluid and BMC air filter, refurbed the wheels, 10mm rear and 8mm front spacers, fitted LEDs inside and out inc DRLs and about to fit a new head unit (Pioneer AVIC-F80DAB). 4 wheel aligned (twice) and fitted some new Conti AO tyres.

I'vee got a FBSW to replace the multifunction at some point.. (need an airbag) and also got a clutch to replace (with the slave pipe)

Luckily I own a Porsche Specialist so I have some good guys that do all the hard work for me :) One being an ex Audi Master Tech

A bit of tidying up to do on the paint (Im fussy!) and that'll be phase 1 done.. Then Im looking at GPS tracking etc and some tidying up of the buckets as they look a bit tired.

Thanks for looking

Russ

Oh.. also, not 100% happy with front bonnet/grille gap. Understand there's some adjustment screws to play with so we will sort that next too. :-)

Nice. Took ownership of a Phantom Black RS4 last Saturday. Starting to plan my fun already and will post some pics in the coming weeks.

Hope you are enjoying it.

Hi Simon, yes really enjoying it. Very much under stated car. I am lucky enough to drive varying Porsches most days in my life, but this car is a different biscuit.

A practical beast with so much potential.
