Has anyone had this done to their Audi RS4 from this forum? From reading a few reviews alot of people who have had this done always seem to recommend it?

This has been looked at a few times. Have a look through the search. But the consensus was always it's rubbish.

Somebody on here did a really detailed scientific breakdown. That's worth a read even if just for a "I have no idea what he's saying but god this sounds cool!".

Snake oil

Anyone dyno tested before and after? Surely that's the way to confirm it?

It don't work on rs4 intake! Cleans inside the cylinders alright, nothing but good old fashioned elbow grease cleans the carbon.

Can anyone recommend someone in NI can do a proper carbon clean or will I have to take a boat trip to Scotland or England?

At a guess I'd say your best bet is Unit 20 in England, near Liverpool I think.

have you tried mcevoy motors 02890814514 carryduff i havent used them yet but theres a few that use them on here. see if he can do it

I will give Terry a ring and see if he is willing to do that.

TBH the car doesn't need it right now but I think my car had one done about 20K ago but still plenty of lift at 5500rpm

I just dont understand why some RS4 owners say its made a difference after this has been done?

Complete placebo. It's like the dicks that put a K&N filter on a car and say 'throttle response has improved and it revs harder'!! Lmfao

It does seem to work however I think a before and after tear down on an RS4 will put the topic to rest once and for all!

I would do it if there was such a service avail in NZ.
