Evening all,

Haven't been on here for ages as I have been so busy at work and I am pleased to say it has paid off. I have the opportunity to make an investment that I will potentially need to sell the RS4 to facilitate.

Before I go any further I need to get a feel for what I might be able to sell my car for. Of course I would rather keep it for a couple more years but this opportunity has come up quicker than anticipated and needs must

As I haven't been following recent sales I would be most grateful for any input as to what might be a reasonable price for:

FSH - All Audi bar one I believe

New coolant tank, R8/Porsche caps about 6 months ago (pic below before fitting coolant tank!)

I have done about 1500 miles since then

I replaced all four tyres in Jan 16 - PSS 3's I think, whatever was recommended on here. About 3,000 miles covered since.

Brakes were replaced at just under 40k by previous owner.

I have owned the car since March 2014 and have covered 13,000 faultless miles. Has had an Audi service every year of my ownership regardless of mileage. Always run on V Bastard during my ownership.

MOT expires Nov 28th 2017.

I have a black optics grill fitted but also have the original alu one if preferred and I have the colour coded trim under the boot like the optics cars, again still have alu one if preferred.

I would say the car is in excellent condition, few stone chips on the front end but not very bad. I couldn't bring myself to get it painted and not have a perfect colour match.

The wheels need refurbishing and I would get this done before selling, potentially be sold before the summer.

The more I have typed the less I want to sell it

Perfect spec/condition/mileage and the best colour. Anyone that knows me will say I'm a bit OCD when it comes to maintaining my cars!

Sounds like a nice motor. I would say around the £20k mark, but depends how quick you want a sale

Just bought mine almost identical to yours except mine has a black optics pack and still on original DRC. I bought it with 57k on it from a dealer in October for just over £21.

Thanks both, that's the sort of region I was hoping for but I did notice B8 prices had dropped a little recently and wondered if that had filtered down.

Matt - if the new owner doesn't want the alu trim, I'll have it off you for a reasonable price!

I sold mine with a similarish spec to yours. I got the asking price but it's up for sale on a dealers site for 23k

Good to know gt2, looks like it sold quick too. I think if I could get close to £20k from a dealer I'd let it go but would much rather a fellow enthusiast purchased it directly without the middle man!

Bit annoyed not to get more enjoyment out of the MRC work, really wish I'd had it done sooner! I know you never get back the money you spend on mods but hopefully having the very recent stage 2 makes it stand out amongst those for sale, if there are any left that haven't had it done!

It went up for sale at 5pm, I had a deposit by 9pm. You just need to stand firm on your price.
