So as i was out tinkering with her i decided to raise the front up a bit to reduce the arch rubbing, Jacked up one side with my trolly jack and then thought i may as well jack the other side up with the scissor jack and put the front up on the axel stands. This didn't go well, the scissor jack bent/buckled and this caused the trolly jack to flip out and the handle hit the door before the car ended up sat on its belly....

So i thought id go the whole hog and try the rears, 1st side came up ok with the lost a bit of skin from my knuckles. 2nd was not so easy, the top mount was spinning with the adjuster nut and as it was on the other side it was much more awkward with the way it needed turning. I ended up drilling a 4mm hole up through the top mount and screwed in a small s/steel screw, this stopped it spinning and i carried on trying to remove any skin that was left from my knuckles.
So what was going to be an hour tinker, turned into 7 hours....... i still love her though :big blink:
