Yes it just happened in Wandsworth- seats were stolen from my B7 RS4 and inside quite badly damaged, e.g. door cards, where they scraped them out. Does anyone have 2 front buckets for sale please? Thanks.

Thanks for your condolences. Arguing with insurance (Adrian Flux - anyone else had the same thing with them?) to stop it being written off as the new parts come to 12k+ VAT

OMG feel sorry for you mate! Scam of the earth one of the reasons why I swapped mine for aftermarket buckets. Used to worry sick every time parking in Dodgy london n streets.

As said in your other thread. Although a painful experience I'd leave a claim we'll alone. It's not worth writing the car off in my opinion.

Absolute %ankers.... Mate I'm totally gutted for you. I would love the buckets in mine as i have comfort seats, but i do think id be on edge all the time with them. Its a sad time when you can't work hard to get nice things without worrying though...

Thanks for all your support - yes car was towed away as I informed the insurance. They defo want to write it off and are offering it back to me at 45% of the insured valued, and I have to get it repaired. As I know my car and it's in perfect nick, I can get some seats but the other damage is expensive too - i.e. the door cards and other scuffed panels. It's a close call. These RS4 will be due for the extra pollution charge in London soon which makes it a tough call

To get you on the road and door cards this may be an option.

Gutted for you mate. Utter scum! I deliberately went for comfort seats because of this! That being said, the amount being stolen again has got me massively paranoid!

I was looking in a specialist car auction website the other day - immaculate RS4 was in there as a Cat C due to seat theft. It was up for £7k (although there was a couple of days left on the auction).

Mate, that is terrible to hear. I'd hoped that these thefts were in the past, but obviously not.

I can't help with the seats, but I do have a complete set of door cards I would sell if it helps. Drop me a PM if you want them.
