Black Headlights

After several years in Misano, I'm going Matte Black with Gloss Black details and Matte Gold on the HRE's and other bits. I'm thinking black headlights back in though rather than the stock clears back in. Seems to be a lot of options on the interwebs for blackened headlights. Anyone changed there's and can recommend a good quality pair which keep the directional system for a 2007 B7 RS4

Thanks, bold indeed, but he's wrapped a few cars for me and is meticulous

As Mike says I have them for years. I imported them from HRE Germany at the time and with a full set of Pilots was around £5k at the time

When I previously looked for a change of headlight I couldn't find any at all that were suitable for OEM xenons. Not sure if that has changed now. So previously the options were to spray the lens, use lamin-x or take them apart and spray the innards. Spraying the innards could be combined with the lamin-x or spraying the lens for a proper dark look but I'd probably go for the lamin-x as it is easily reversible if you don't like it.
I think Jules' headlights look to be tinted too.

Yes I remember some post from years back regarding this but my problem is im too busy working to pay for my love of motors to have the time to do this sort of thing. Unless there's a outfit that offer this ax a service?

You can buy lamin x pre cut from America:
http://www.lamin-x.com/Audi-A4-S4-06-08 ... /a008t.htm

Then either fit yourself or give it to your wrap guys for a proper fit (will take the minutes to do).
