i have b14s on mine as well, hopefully you get it set up nice first time its a nightmare trying to adjust the rears once on the car, fronts are nice and easy! lowered on the 20's no rubbing but like the others said just remove the big screw on the arch and all good,
Re: 20
Good to know as I wanted to avoid non huncentric spacers if at all possible.Rw@@dy wrote:I've got the s5 wheels with those tyres and 8mm spacers all round without any rubbing, you just need to remove the screw from the front wheel arch liner. I'm lowered on coilovers as well having been ss+ prior to that
Worse case if they did catch are hubcentric spacers available below 8mm?
Ps cheers for the picture
Re: 20" S5 LeMans/Twin Spoke Wheel Info Req Please
Yes you can get 8mm hubcentric, virdee on here can supply them
Re: 20" S5 LeMans/Twin Spoke Wheel Info Req Please
Sorry, should have been clearer, I've got 8mm hubcentrics, wondered if thinner hubcentrics are available or are just the flat type once you go below 8mm?
Re: 20" S5 LeMans/Twin Spoke Wheel Info Req Please
I think if you go below 8mm then it's just the flat type, however I run those on the rear of my car and there's still a decent amount of the original hub to get the wheel on
Re: 20" S5 LeMans/Twin Spoke Wheel Info Req Please
I'm running 265/30/20 off a A5 cab with 8mm spacers and when it was too low it scrubbed a fair bit over bumps or with passengers in. I lifted it now which is still a nice ride height but sounds like a 255 tyre would be best if your buying new tyres to fit.
But I would say when I bought my wheels I spent a few months looking and you best deals by far are a set of wheels with good tyres. I didn't pay much more then the tyres would have been new for my wheels and tyres.
As already said you will need spigot rings.
