Guys,
Got a mate looking at this, was a Cat D from an interior theft removal now replaced, seems pretty sweet for a 55k mile car for £16k - am I missing something?

Thanks guys - I said I get some other opinions from the experts!

Looks lovely. Is it Daytona?

I love how dealers always make all the standard extras sound like an optional extras just on this car lol
Looks clean. Love the colour! Was my original choice. I would call them up and ask about major money pits if they were done already. Like DRC, oil cooler and pipes, clutch, brakes etc... if everything I mentioned needs doing, the bill is easily 5-6k on top of 16k. Close inspection is a must. As well as a test drive! Make sure there is a lick at 5.5k rpm

Yeah, he's new to RS's so I'll brief him on all of that - think it's Daytona - I still have my Sprint Blue Saloon on 50k miles!

Personally, I'd be giving this a wide berth Tim. Too many contradictions and scope for a bad experience!
The interior originally looks to have been the racing cloth (half leather) version and the front comfort seats do not match that, being full leather. A quick forum search shows the reg pop up in this thread below, where the forum member/owner suggests that they actually removed the Bucket seats, because they were uncomfortable?

One point which I'm trying to drill down on is that the service history shows Guildford Audi which is my neck of the woods and I do remember about 18-24 months ago a Daytona Grey Avant being stolen from an owner in this sort region after a home break in. So it may well be this one?

Yes Ian, current advert says seat theft in 2013 and yet the member in the link was talking about swapping out bucket seats for comforts, because the seats (buckets) were uncomfortable? That forum user purchased the car in May 2014.
***small side note***
Tints are aftermarket, so could be ripped off.

Maybe what he meant was that they were stolen and replaced to original which he didn't like and swapped for comfort? That's what I understand from reading his first post anyways..

I think its a couple of grand overpriced for a cat D, even if no body damage unless hes thinking
of keeping it for a long time.
Resale value will always be down on this regardless.

Thanks guys, will pass it on - I agree with the price snag Jules, he's looking to hold longterm, still would annoy me that the interior is mismatched though.
