Exhaust

Post by Nickygrs4 » Sun Nov 20, 2016 10:47 pm

Hi all
I'm looking for advice on how to make the exhaust on these nicer or am I better just putting on a cat back system?? I had been thinking about a miltek resonated cat back system?? Not looking anything crazy loud. Any help or advice be greatly appreciated.

Nicky

Cheap option is to ditch the centre boxes... Works well.

It will sound insane. Have you heard my videos?
I do hope you have no neighbours or this is a weekend car.
I lasted about a year.

And expect a lot of attention from the police.

Hi Mike

I havent heard your vids. I want insane!! I love loud exhausts. I do have neighbours so they'll just have to deal with it :jump:

My wife will probably go nuts tbh but i guess she'll just have to deal with it too

I wanted insane and loud too. Conversation was impossible in the car; we had to shout at each other.
Police kept stopping me. They didn't stop me because of the noise (although they always mentioned it) but they could hear me coming a mile away and it always sounded like I was 200mph.

I had it with both Milltek res and non res centre sections. With the res it was less anti social but lost its bark. If I were to do it again I would get valves fitted in the tailpipes like the OEM exhaust so you can turn the 'insane' on and off.

A decent exhaust fabricator should be able to do it I imagine. Somewhere like JC weldfab, Hayward & Scott, RS Fabrications etc.
