Drivers door sensor not working??

Hi all, I have noticed when open the drivers door no puddle or interior lights come on. Also the door open signal doesn't work and if lights left on and keys removed no warning sound when drivers door opened either. Anyone know what causes this?
Any help be great.

Sounds like a faulty convenience module. A
VCDS scan may help confirm, but they don't always trigger a fault code
Be careful not to accidentally lock your keys in the car, if it auto locks when it doesn't realise you've opened the driver's door... ask me how I know!

Cheers guys.
Have it working now. Someone had plugged the loom out and when putting it back together didn't do it square on and pushed one pin back to far. All sorted now and working.
