how much should it cost ?

I went for a vehicle inspection today and the off side rear spring is cracked. I was also told there was a problem with one of the engine mounts.

Any advice ? How much should it usually cost to sort it ?

Engine mounts are about £250 just for the part. Probably an hour or 2 to fit.

i would do both back springs-and dependant on which side mount throw a starter in too if its starter side...failed starters pretty common it would seem

Was there an error code on the engine mount only, or are you experiencing any issues 'hands on'?
I was talking to the guys at stertman a while back (experts with the RS models) and they told me almost all B7 RS4 do have an engine mount fault code but it does not really bring any issues.

Yes it's a common fault and one that can easily be ignored but mine made it vibrate a bit more at caertain revs (high idle).

I agree; do engine mounts and consider upgrading (ECS or O34 if you ask me), also starter when you are there since they are cheap.
