Observations from ADI

A few small observations from Audi Driver Int. at Castle Combe today......

Lots of RS3's on track, sounds epic.
Doug and the boys at MRC have done some stonking work to get that RS6 motor in the RS4.
FaisalJ is a nice bloke, his car is fecking loud when he gives it some!
Trups' car is nice.
MikeFish's car is way too low on the front imo, but, i doubt he gives a toss about my opinion!
Airbag suspension is silly, must be an age thing......

My car is static, not on air.

I keep saying on here how good that RS3 sounds straight from the factory, one of the best stock exhaust I've heard and certainly one of the best Audi ones.

And yes, C7 engine in a B8 will be epic when finished. Shame it's not a UK car.

Yes, C7 in a B8 is French, i believe.

Ha, no worries. Yes the B8 will be heading back to France when complete. Wouldn't mind having a go in that!

I was there today, bit of a last minute trip with my boy so my RS was in the carpark and not with you guys. Some lovely cars on display.

I hadn't realised there was a 246 spot, i only noticed it was ADI late on Friday and just turned up. The guy taking the money asked if i was with a club and without thinking i just said no and stuck it in the carpark. Saw yours there,looked good. And had a quick chat with Faisal as he was busy cleaning his beauty.
Lots of ideas on mods i need to execute.....

Yes, the layout had changed from previous years and I found the 246 area (while walking around) quite late and accidentally. At least we 8's were in the usual spot.
The S2 area I found much later after asking someone, they were hiding over the way with the A2's. Maybe it's the low numbers that get relegated....

1st impressions for me ( bear in mind it's my 1st meet )
There were allott of stiffs there .
Not on the 246 group pretty down to earth regular guys
Just my opinion ?
