TPMS

I keep having the TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) message appear on my display. I have reset countless times, but it keeps coming back. Does anyone know why this is happening (aside from the obvious of tyre pressures being down - which they're not) and how to fix?
Thanks.

Quick fix: disable with vagcom.
Long fix. Replace all sensors.

Don't know if I got lucky but I just unplugged the TPMS antenna behind the rear bumper grille and plugged it back in and its worked perfect ever since. Its worth having the sensors checked at a local tyre fitters, I used National tyres and they checked them for free, it helped narrow the fault down to the antenna.

Thanks. Audi reset it via the trip computer (which is what I was doing anyway), but I'll try and unplug the antenna, however not being the most hands-on, can you advise exactly where this is? A picture would speak a thousand words!
Thanks.

Remove highlighted center grille section with a plastic trim tool of flathead screwdriver! it just clips in. The TPMS antenna is just behind the grille, simply unplug the connector and you can remove the antenna from its housing.
I then switched the ignition on until it recognized there was a fault with TPMS system and then turned the ignition off, replaced the antenna, started the car and its been fine ever since..... worth a try, you never know your luck!

I've got the exact same issue occurring now. Please post if you attempt the repair…

I assume you are getting the 'TPMS' warning rather than the low tyre pressure warning?

Many thanks for the pic! Back to work tomorrow, but I'll give a try next weekend and report back.

Just TPMS, not low pressure.

How old are your TPMS sensors as the batteries run out after a number of years. So you will need to replace them or as said disable the antenna.
