5k kick with stage 2?

Should I be feeling a kick at 5k with an MRC stage 2?
Looking at the dyno graph there seems to be a decent increase at around that spot. Is the kick from the secondary flap in the airbox or from the map/ecu. Do people with CAI and flap delete still get the kick?
Mines going up to MRC on Monday to have a look at it so I'm trying to give them as much info as I can on the car as I'm sure there's an intermittent problem somewhere.

Im sure they'll get to the bottom of it, I'm just trying to give them as much info as i can.
Pretty sure theres no vac leak as I've tested it as best i can. I was thinking maybe the solenoid on the airbox may of had a intermittent fault due to no 5k kick, that was the thinking behind the question. I did the Arthur test on a couple of occasions, 1st time i was getting 8.4-8.5 times, that was early morning and quite cool. Next i did a run on the same road each way and it was hot, around 27* and got 7.8 both times. The car feels faster some times than others...

No i don't think so, both times the car was driven there on a dual carriage way and was not sat around or hammered before the test, also the hot day produced the faster times..

The kick is still there on mine with MRC stage 2, CAF and flap removed etc...

Hope you get to the bottom of it, mine feels like a new car since coming back from MRC, totally different animal.

Well... It does. It's well reported online? My solenoid went so the flap didn't activate at 5k... So I didn't get a kick... Solenoid now replaced and working and the kick is back.

It lets in more air... =bigger bang... =more power...=kick...

I've never been able to feel it. Pretty sure it's there if I think about it, but when the engine hits 5k rpm I'm too busy concentrating on the road to be wondering if there is or isn't a kick.
