Well just a random post to be honest, just came back from the ring last weekend to Watch the WRC and well its true to say ive fallen in love with the car again.
To think I was going to Change it five weeks ago for a RB320 subaru ( am I mad!!????), the car performed flawlesly over the 1900 miles cover in five days and upone racing my friends C63 AMG THATS BEEN REMAPPED TO 512, i was pleasantly suprised when we fid a 60mph third gear race, up hill, down hill and on the flat to find that over about a mile/ mile and a half he only pulled about a wings length in front.
Annoyingly the autobahn wadnt very clear but we did manage to pull 174 with some grunt left to go.
Weird issue is that when I brought the car three years ago it had the deaded sticky clutch issue, so obviously i was dubious about thrashing it around the ring. But to my suprise I had no issues at all. Even when the oil temp went up to 126degrees on the gauge. So im pleasantly in love with the car again and am deff going to be keeping it and doing some changes.
A mix of cara over the weekend with me from Cornwall. C63amg, clio V6 gen 2, P1 scooby, type r scooby, alfa 155 V6, and a 22b scooby, so hear after that three of the guys have fallen for the Rs, to the fact one of them Is on the hunt for one now is a nice feeling. To realise you have something that other people respect and admire.
Only problem is now I want to go back to the ring this weekend, DAMN!!
Anyway happy days!!
Nurburgring, and no sticky clutch

Good stuff, sounds like fun.
I'd love to get over there at some stage and give it a go.
