Yes been there and done that, it makes an orange mess of your microfiber.

You know that you'd love, the allure of the grey stuff

The way it feels. It's a combo of things - the slickness of the gear shift, the mechanical sound of the engine rasp combined with the timing chain whine, the heavy steering, the brakes...

For me it's that perfect sweet note of the v8 and being cradled in the recardos and that beautifull wide arse

Doesn't your rev to 8500rpm with a stage 2 MRC map?

Do you mean real RPM or what the dashboard says? ;-)

In terms of real RPM (what the ECU thinks and tells VCDS) he's pretty much right.

They over-read by a good 200rpm by the time you get to the limiter. Actual rev limit was 8000-8050 logged but the needle does read higher. My JHM tune shows 8500 on the dash but it only really reaches for real what the stock car indicates. I assume it's the same with MRC unless you can get the gauge to show closer to 9 grand.

Sorry if that was too nerdy.

C5 RS6 Avant Daytona/Cognac - gone.

I meant dashboard rpm but always assumed that was true.
