RNS-E easiest iPod solution?

Post by concept » Thu Jul 21, 2016 9:17 pm

As title, whats the easiest solution to achieve iPod connectivity with a standard early RNS-E unit?

Dont want to spend a fortune as have bigger plans, but I have no CD's left, and memory cards are not the way I want to go.

Not overly fussed about functionality, playlists etc, just want to listen to my own stuff.

Cheers

I bought one of these initially http://caraudiosecurity.com/audi-rns-e- ... -interface

I since then have purchased an aux cable and now just plug my iPhone in by headphone jack and just play my music that way.

Im sure I still have my xcarlink iPod interface if you are interested.

I had one of the above on my b5 rs4. Worked very well. Kept it for the c5 rs6 and really struggling to make it fit due to the space on the back

If I've got to have the head unit out anyway, then go on, see if you still have it and let me know how much you'd like.
