5w/30 or 5w/40 then? Definitely a good price on the 5w/30 link

Re: Fuchs Titan Oil
I changed to the Fuchs Titan 5w 40 oil at the last service and I am certain it now uses less oil if that is of any help.

Re: Fuchs Titan Oil
My experience is that whatever oil you use the oil consumption is near enough zero for the first 5000 miles after a change, then increases steadily afterwards.CycleSi wrote:I changed to the Fuchs Titan 5w 40 oil at the last service and I am certain it now uses less oil if that is of any help.
Gone: 2006 B7 RS4 Avant (Phantom Black)
Re: Fuchs Titan Oil
whatever audi put in it but ill be getting the oil for it this time what would yous recommend i was thinking 5w 40
Re: Fuchs Titan Oil
i just did mine with 5/40 due to stories of decreased oil consumption using it
Re: Fuchs Titan Oil
Decreased oil use seem a good enough reason to me if its true enough. Never seems to burn it but uses it. I'm sure I read somewhere Fuchs seems to last longer somehow. Wether it was 5w/30 or 40 I'm not sure.
