Hi All,

Only a few updates, had the brake calipers painted red, can't believe how big the front brakes are! In black very understated.

The best mod so far, middle box delete and x pipe installed can not believe how much better it sounds!! Lovely burble and some rasp at the top end of the Rev range highly recommend this.

Having the clutch done tomorrow by CAMSPEC.

Brakes look good, as you said, black really doesn't do them justice..

Very sharp, and like the red calipers. You might want to consider the RS caliper plate for the rear which makes a huge esthetic difference. On this side, ECS sells it under RS7 parts for example.

Thanks!

Exhaust was done by EMP Performance and it was £250 all in. I am really loving this mod! She sounds amazing!

The calipers were done by Specialist Tyres, a guy called Faz runs the place, I supplied the decal, the finish is really good, all 4 calipers done for £250 all in.

Thank you mate, I did think about them, just not keen on drilling holes in the calipers! They do look good though.

Hi Jit,

Did you have the clutch done?

I have exactly the problem you've described and I've had the pipe changed. All I got was a heavier clutch pedal and the slow return after heavy acceleration is still there!

I can't for the life of me find any one around or on the internet that actually knows how to cure this issue.

I hope you have solved it and can let me know the answer. Cheers Buddy.

I'm more of an Avant man but yours looks nice ;)

I did have it done, it's so much better know it won't stick down after you've it the beans!!

had the following done :

Clutch
Release bearing
Pressure plate
DMF
Slave cylinder
Master cylinder
Rob's braided updated pipe.

Problem solved, I got the LuK clutch kit, Sachs master and slave cylinder when Euro's have the 30% off deal they were less than £160 all in DMF is expensive and the labour!

Hope you get it sorted soon!

Thanks

Jit.

Did you get a teflon lined, braided clutch pipe or a standard Audi pipe?

I got the updated Audi pipe. I'm hoping the new one is ok considering the bad one took 65,000 miles to deteriorate.

I have a feeling there is more to it than just the pipe. There are too many unusual symptoms. Varying bite point after heavy acceleration, jumpy pull away when the car is cold, immediate bite after heavy acceleration (not nice and gradual). It's all too weird.

No sorry not got any sound clips, but will try and get some.

Recent updates, I had the chrome vinyl wrapped as the chrome has always bothered me.

Looks lovely. I assume optics wasn't available on a cab? Always thought one would look good with black.
