Yeah, thats about right.
I find my economy is better when nearer 80 rather than the industry standard 56 mph.... :-/

A 25ish mpg is pretty good for a 4.2 V8 :-D

28 was my best on a long drive from the IOW to the Lakes. Obviously didn't include the hour sat on the boat!

We may well have a winner already!

29 MPG has been my best over an A11/M11 airport run.
On a side, I've been pleasantly surprised by mid-20s whenever I've driven on the infamous 3 and 5 Autobahns in Germany, despite regular triple figure speeds.

I do about a 130 mile round trip once a week round the M25 and down the M23, when the roadworks were on I had 29.9 showing, I tried really hard to get it to tick over to 30 but it wouldn't go. The 4 miles I live off the M25 soon dropped it to 26 though.

I often get over 26 on the journey if I am just cruising which is not that bad at all I think.... Practically a hybrid.

I cracked 31.3 mpg on a 55 mile trip to Kent. Taking it steady eddy at around 70 mph.

27.4mpg was my best ever after going to PistonHeads in mid Wales. Clear run back on A roads letting her have a gentle ride back after the abuse of the day!

25ish on a clear run down to Bristol at 2am... The 50mph zones on the m5 certainly helped.

Mine was looking ok today on a 500 mile round trip. 28ish but after dropping my son off and a relatively clear m40/m6 it dropped quite a bit [WINKING FACE]

Had to get back for a few pints!!
