Hi Guys,
I'll post in B7 this time not B8!!
Looking into buying my first RS4, i've read all buyers guides on here regarding common issues, DRC etc and done a lot of research!
Any of you eagle eyed people can spot anything untoward with this one from its AT listing?

Thanks Sam.
Not much to go on looking at that advert as far as history/maintenence info goes.

Agreed, quite a poor advert but that's not unusal for a trader. The pictures aren't the best quality to help us but my first observations are:
Negatives:
- Mismatched rear tyres and also different from the front pair.
Climate control switched off, might mean the Econ light won't go off which could lead to an aircon compressor fault.
Clutch and brake pedal rubbers excessively worn.
Drivers seat bolster in below average condition, I'd be pretty confident in saying the two valves are knackered so they wont hold the desired inflation pressure.
Window tints look aftermarket.
No tech pack which gives - auto dimming rear view mirror, auto lights, auto wipers and home coming lights.
Positives:
- Black optics look genuine.
Front discs look reasonable.
Steering wheel trims, badges and buttons look in good shape.
Spec slightly above average.

The mismatched tyres on the rear axle could be a sign that the previous owner wasn't exactly diligent with caring for the car. No enthusiast would let that happen.
The exhaust tips are in a state too. I doubt the car gets a proper clean, maybe the local hand wash at best - so the paintwork might be a state close up.
I'm a fan of the colour and shape though!

Tyres are a big telling point for me on a car, if your going to compromise on a sub £200 premium matching tyre your not likely to spend descent money on the 1-2k maintenance bills that will inevitably happen on these cars.
I wonder why you think that Faisal......

To be fair, over all my cars i've ever owned i've never mismatched tyres!
I'm going to look at this car later, will look at the service history.
No tech pack is annoying, but the Black Optics looks fantastic!
Will update later, not in any rush to buy! Wanting the right one!

Check the brake discs, if they are badly lipped or worn you are looking at best part of 2k to sort out.
+1 on the tyres.

Window tints looked naff

Also poor service history IMO.
Serviced in 2008 at 14,000
then serviced in 2010 at 40,000
then 2011 at 50k
then 2013 at 60k
2015 at 67k
Not owned by someone who really cared IMO..

Sporadic servicing at best... I'm assuming the search continues?

Looks quite tidy, spec isn't bad, no carbon inlays but that's not the end of the world if it doesn't bother you.
Worth checking Clutch and DMF at the mileage though if they've been replaced, suspension sits a little low at the back and 440bhp is optimistic based just on a Revo map and no other work so id check for a dyno on that too.
Advert does show it will have 12 months MOT but currently expired on the 18/5/2016 so bear that in mind for test drive purposes and any advisories on new MOT.

There's a lot of <beep> out there truth be told , A LOT
Just go armed with your check list taking into account what's said on here and go through it , you may ( read will ) have to compromise on something and te same goes for price or move very quickly if something crops up. If you have been diligent you will end up with quite a triable and fairly inexpensive car to run but being tight on the budget will bite you on the arse somewhere
