I considered buying that very car when it came up for sale a couple of years ago. I actually asked about it on here, but it sold before I decided.
No regrets keeping mine, as can pile on the miles without much fear of great depreciation.

At the time, this car had about 5k miles less and was priced about £4k less, too!
Still looks in tremendous condition. I'm surprised it has been for sale for so long (a good few months now).

£31k! Nope, even in the perfect spec and low miles a B7 isn't worth that. I sold my 'charged one for less and it had KW coils, Milltek/Tubi exhaust and custom Plush interior on top of the £15k TTS kit.

It doesn't look that good to me. Not that clean and the drivers seat doesn't look like 30k miles.
Your better off buying a minter, moded up for £18k and you've then got over £10k to spend customising it.

It was perfect when Iain had it, the current owner must not be looking after it properly which is a shame.

Not a huge fan of white on the B7, to me it is a little too big a car to pull off that colour.

People like you are the very reason I post little on car forums.

There are some wires getting crossed up here chaps, the original seat bolster comment was in relation to the Sprint Blue Saloon for sale at the same dealer. That car is the subject of this thread and not the SC'd Ibis White Avant.

This thread is about the blue one. Coffey is talking about he white one for some reason, and now I dont know if dbell is actually the owner of the blue one or the White one?

Edit: Sam beat me to it.

Apologies if I have picked things up wrong, the thread refers to Iain, who used to own the ibis car.
And also refers to the colour of it!
But an Iain may have owned the blue car as well, and if this is the case then sorry for the confusion.

David.

Aye, my mistake, I thought it was the white one that was being talked about.

Will try and stay off the drugs...

When I ordered my RS4 in February 2006 the cost of the Tech Pack was greater than the cost of the individual options I needed (I already had an RNS-E) so don't just judge on whether "Tech Pack" is shown - go by what's actually fitted to the car.
