Clean tyres from brake dust

Post by harding » Sun May 15, 2016 3:18 pm

Hi,
ever since i got the yellow stuff pads (and at the same time got michelin pss), there have been a fainted brown/yellow/gold layer outside my tires which really looks but-ugly. I have tried to clean them with car schampoo aswell as degreasing and scrubbing with a sponge but nothing really helps. This really bothers me. Its like the dust is getting more and more "painted" on the rubber.
You guys have a neat trick for it? :boohoo:
Audi RS4 Avant
[2014]: blacked out wheels & grill: center res delete : flaps open
[2015]: brembo & yellowstuff : michelin pss : h&r spacers
[2016]: sachs performance clutch : decoked : led there be light : black window trim
[2017]: stertman stage 1 : black headlights & clear corner mod : gruppe m air intake : gutted resonators

Britemax grime out agitated with a stiff brush then once tyres are dry dress them with tyre gel/liquid will be much easier to clean next time
