JC Weldfab Exhaust Systems and options

Morning All,
I'm currently talking with Mark at JC Weldfab about exhaust options for my B7 RS4, the quality of their manufacturing and the fantastic sound quality are drawing me towards using them as well as the fact their systems give the RS4 something a little different from the mass produced Milltek systems or modified OEM (which i currently have).
I know a few guys have had the systems on their cars and iv heard nothing but positive feedback so far.
Also by a happy accident they are based only 15 miles from my doorstep and will do the installation.
So my question to you all is, would anybody else be interested in looking into having this installed and we can look at group buy options? Mark has sent over some pics and estimate prices which i can upload if there's enough interest too. (admin apologies if this is in the wrong place)
Thanks,
Toby

Really? When?
Mark mentioned 10 but id be happy to talk to him about that or if he could extend to other RS/S models as part of a group buy, I can even nip in to see them they are only 20 mins from both home and work and i didn't even realise until a couple of days ago.....

Booked in for 23rd May
20min from JCWF and you didn't realise!!??
I'm going to have to wake up at about 4:15am to get the car there, and then get on a train back into London to get to the office. I was looking at low loaders, but just not comfortable with the risk of them damaging the car in transit.
What level of discount are we talking?

Ah not long then!
To say I was pleased with the accidental closeness of their proximity was an understatement, you going manifold or cat back? I'm about on the 23rd so if you needed a lift let me know I wouldn't mind sticking my head in at JC either way (pending a clean bill of health at MRC on the 19th).
Discount wise I think Mark was hinting around 10% but again depends on numbers I would assume,

Haha, yeah that's quite a result! I would've got a JCWF already if it was around the corner from me. You're also very close to Trups, if you wanted to get any mods to your headlights done...
I'm going manifold back, with 200 cell cats.
Very kind of you to offer a lift, but I don't think I can trouble you at around 7am when I intend to get there. Can you get an uber in Wellingborough? Otherwise might book a minicab just to get me to the train station.
I'd have thought some of the B8 gang would be pretty interested too - I think they've developed a system now on RossDagley's car?

I was looking probably at the full manifold back as had previously been looking at gutted pre-cats either way.
On reflection 7 may be a touch on the early side ha not sure on Uber its not something iv ever looked into
Il see if any other B7 owners want the JC Weldfab and then see if Mark will extend the group buy to other models also.

Yep, I thought about cat-back, but manifold back is the way to go I reckon.
I'll just leave these here:

Best to ask RossDagley - they were developing on his car:

I'm currently looking into exhaust options for my car and would be interested in prices.
I'm hoping to travel over to MRC at some point for stage 2 map and a couple of other things, so would be handy if I could get the exhaust done the day before and only have to make one trip across the water.

In my opinion the best quality exhaust available and I'm also going to try and get the full system fitted and then down to MRC for the stage 2 map.
Price wise if we can get 10 combinations of systems possibly a 10% plus discount depends on numbers, i will speak to Mark again in regards to this.
Details are from Mark at JC Weldfab:
"""""""""We have a manifold back and cat back option, both of which are valved systems.
Price wise:
Manifold back with hi flow sports cats £2640inc vat and fitting – we do make people aware that the studs on the manifolds can snap on the 3 bolt flange, if this happens then we need to replace the studs, we drill the old ones out, fit helicoils and re-stud, this is an additional cost of £175, not all snap but we find that most do now.
The cat back option is £1800inc vat and fitting.
The black tail pipe option is available for an additional £120
Both options are fully made in house, we require 3-5days to do the work."""""""

Is there a non valved option do you know?
3-5 days is longer than I thought also. Accommodation costs plus hire car to get out and do touristy things would soon add up!

They can do a non-valved option however haven't to date so the sound would be hit and miss although I can't see it being much different from a valves open valved system, and the manufacturing time is 3-5 days as they are hand made but they can manufacture in advance and then fit on the day I believe.
