DRC vs Coilovers value

So I've started the hunt for an avant and seen a few cars with coilovers fitted, would this hurt or help the value against a similar spec with working DRC?
I'm unsure which way to lean as I do all my own servicing but the DRC would rule that out unless I choose to change to coils later.

I discounted any with coilovers and wanted a car with drc , I prefer Mint , standard cars I'm afraid and would pay more

I would think doing your own servicing would hurt the value more.

I've seen some horrific work out of my local dealers
On previous cars I've never had an issue with well documented self done servicing. I've got a ramp and compressor etc at the house and a TPS account so it'd be a shame not to use it.

Normally I'd agree, looking to see what others think. Don't think I'll completely discount those with coilovers though. I'll maybe just be prepared to offer less on them.

I get where you are coming from but there are upsides and downsides to both , first the DRC is getting unreliable now with age , and when its just a shocker its a few hundred quid to fix including recharging if the valve doesnt get wrecked due to the loss of pressure destroying the seat , but the overriding issue now is the mild steel pipework connecting them together ,these cars are getting old and the pipework is deteriorating and will burst , this happened to mine with 60k on it , the pipes were attrocious over the rear subframe and there is no rust on the floor , so audi in THEIR wisdom fitted mild steel pipes instead of chucking another few quid on SS pipes on a 50k car , this requires the whole rear subframe to be removed and all 4 pipes from front to rear replaced , and new hoses as the fittings will be rusted solid , the cost of the pipes alone is 800 quid and 12-16 hrs labour so easily far more expensive than a set of real good expensive coilovers , the only downside to coilovers is they are stiffer than DRC but do massively improve the handling if you like it , but stiffer Roll bars will be needed as they are soft as the DRC does a lot of the work so thats additional cost too , and if you wish to lower it , you can , i did just 10mm which doesnt affect the geometry , just my tuppence

Some more to consider there, I hadn't even thought of the state of the pipes. Only shock and hose issues are usually mentioned. I guess they'll be as susceptible to rust as brake lines and I've seen some pretty rusty ones on clean looking cars. That's the trouble a lot of RS4's are shiny on top only because of their age.
