RS4 Detango done it at last, its a PITA !!!

Well removed these:

and ended up with this:

Well worth the effort, however anyone going into doing this job is better off sending there lights to the site sponsor, its a mare!!

Removing the bumper is a case of "simply unbolt the / remove this" yeah right !! its not a nice job to do and you need some bespoke tools (8 inch star drive, your average quality socket set wont fit).

All in, I am pleased I done it, but an Evo 8 for example was a lot easier.

When Audi facelifted the B6 to the B7 they forgot all about ease of maintenance - e.g. removing the headlights on the B6 just mean loosening 2 bolts and the headlight just slid out, but on the B7 it's a bumper off job.

Same for me really. I simply can't be arsed to go to all the hassle as I'm not bothered with the Tango look. But well done for persevering OP :thumbs:

RS4 B7 Saloon Sprint Blue, Bilstein B14 Coilovers, Milltek Cat Back resonated non valved. Spacers 8mm F and 10mm R. Headlight clear zenon lens upgrade with 5500k bulbs plus indicator orange lens delete.

Is there a guide on removal you used ?
