Cheap premium tyres

Post by mustdash » Thu Feb 25, 2016 9:57 pm

Thought I'd pop this up here - I'm on the look out for a new set of tyres and was tipped off about this today. I was in their fitting centre in Warwick (who are quite pricey for people walking in off the street) and they told me to check their website. Cheaper than any mobile fitters I've found.

You order on the website, they get delivered to your local fitting centre, you go and get them put on - all prices inc of VAT and fitting etc -

Goodyear Eagle F1's - £135 a corner.
Dunlop Sportsmaxx - £127
Michelin PS 3 - £142
Pirelli PZero - £120

*I have no affiliation to this company - just thought the prices were very good!
CURRENT: Montecarlo Blue Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifolglio, 2.9ltr bi-turbo, 510bhp
PREVIOUS: Volvo V60 Polestar, build number 149/700 worldwide - 3ltr straight 6 turbo. 350bhp remapped to 400bhp. Only one of 120 in the UK
PREVIOUS: Misano red B7 saloon, stage 2 map to 425bhp, manifold flap delete, KW V3 coilovers.

Camskill and Costco are normally pretty good for tyres too.

Costco do 20% off IIRC every year when you buy 4 Michelins - you don't need to get them fitted immediately/together so may also be worth keeping an eye out on them too.

They don't have 255/30/20s (for my RS4) or 285/30/21 for the 6.

Believe it or not, but Amazon seem to have some competitively priced tyres too. If you got prime it's free delivery too I guess, will have to get them fitted yourself though.

Amazon sell all kinds if crap now. When i was looking for alloy wheels I was surprised to find lots of searches were leading me to the US version of the site.
