your happy with the yellow stuff pads then mike . are you using the oem discs
Yes on my 2nd set now. And yes, with OEM discs.

Ross D tried many different pads with regular track use and I'm pretty sure he recommends these too.

I've not used the DS2500 on the RS but used them on previous cars and found them to be excellent but had to be careful on first brake when cold. I didn't use them this time cos I'm getting old so preferred the yellow stuff as they have wear indicators. The DS will no doubt perform better once warmed up though.

As a side note, you could update your signature as there is nothing of that calibre listed?

Back on topic, Pagid themselves were forthcoming in announcing that they were victim of inferior counterfeit products.

Depends which signature you look at. If I use tapatalk it's linked to a very old profile.

But I have changed my mind and ordered some Ferodo DS2500 pads

My car came with Tarox F2000 grooved discs, Strada pads and stainless lines already fitted so I can't compare them to stock but the car stops well. I had Yellow pads on my previous S4, the Yellow's were excellent. I know plenty others that use Yellow's on their RS'.

The more aggressive the pad, the harsher it is on the disc. If you need more bite, then yeah go for it, but be mindful you'll be changing your discs sooner.

Pad change, better fluid with a higher boiling point and braided hoses lines and you should be good to go.
