I am going to do an oil change in the near future and have searched through previous threads and got no wiser.

So short and simple,

What oil do you use in your RS4?

Pennzoil Ultra 5w-40, or now called platinum/Euro. This took the place of the old Ultra, and an upgrade from the old platinum from what I was told by Shell.

I used to use castrol edge 5w30.

Have switched to Fuchs Titan GT1 5w40.

Remember the oil grade recommended by Audi is different in EU and US, 5w-30 in the EU and 5w-40 in the US.

So expect different answers based on where members live...

I have also just switched to this and don't seem to have used any oil at all in the thousand miles or so I've done since the service which is unheard of and a real bonus so thumbs up from me for Fuchs Titan GT1 5w40 so far.

Thanks very much. I was using Castrol. But will give Fuchs a try. Can also use in my Mk2 Golf Gti.

My ass dyno says 5-10% over Castrol Edge that was less than 5k miles old.
Was a new filter two obviously but I like it!
