Auto-Lights but no Auto-Wipers

My 07 Avant has auto lights but no auto-wipers. I do have the auto-dimming rear view mirror.
Looking through various forums, it seems as though they specced together.

Should I have auto-wipers? Looks like I have some weird hybrid spec

That is strange, I thought they came together.

Is it possible someone has turned them off with VCDS? my current A3 has auto lights and wipers and you disable the wipers in the vehicle settings.

Agree with Mart, they should all come together.

If fitted you should have a sensitivity dial on the face of the wiper stalk, you then click the wiper stalk up one position and leave it there to utilise the function. If you have a non OEM windscreen fitted, then it can affect the auto wipers. I've found that they become less sensitive to the rain on various cars, so now only use genuine screens.

You can adjust the auto wiper sensitivity with VCDS to work better with non-OEM screens http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.ph ... _Window.29

That would be my guess too.

I had the same problem but my solution was a simple one................I changed the headlight washer pump - bingo.
