I've got a new set of Michelin PSSs to put on the original rims (glad to see the back of the Pirellis it came with) and am going to replace the Contis on the Rotors with Michelins.

Quick update. Pic of the car with the standard wheels and the kit fitted

And one with the Rotors on

The spokes on the first front Rotor I fitted were within a fag paper of the brake caliper. Looked far too close so I fitted the spacer. Tested the car up the road but the n/s front tyre scuffed on even slight bumps. I don't want to risk the spokes so close to the caliper so I'll raise the ride height tomorrow by 5mm or so and see what it's like.

I've had the rotors on mine for 2 or 3 years now with no issues. Yes its bloody close to the caliper but its never touched it.

Assume you're not running spacers with the rotors? It just looked so close on mine without a spacer (even though the rim obviously wouldn't flex to cause interference with the caliper when under lateral load :D )

No spacers for me, it looked like it was going to touch but it actually has just enough room to clear it.

Im running a KW kit like this wound to the bottom front and rear. Ive recently taken my 20" speedlines and put on the standard wheels and now I'm getting some scrubbing when cornering hard or hitting a dip at speed, whats this bolt that people are talking about that needs removing?

:bash:
If it's the bolt that #1Rs4 mentions above, it's located inside the top of the front wheel arch and secures the arch liner.

It may be that the offset on your Speedlines is different to the standard rim, hence the scuffing.

Can it come out without causing any issues, i.e the arch liner isn't going to fall out I take it?

No its fine to remove the screw, i took mine out a couple of weeks ago and have had no issues since, arch liner is still secured in place well even with that screw removed.

Yes, mine has been out for years.
