Anyone going to give this kit a go been a few years in the making and the price seems sensible compared to the kits when they where released a few yeas ago

wow they've come down in price! That really makes a B7 something special. I've always said the RS4 with another 150hp would be the perfect car - this gets you mighty close for very little dosh.

Thankfully they don't do them for the B8 at that price... yet!

Sar on here has one IIRC.

They're not quite as powerful as a TTS but still a big boost in power. Not as plug and play either, particularly the air filter ends up in a rather odd place with this kit. Not that it'd bother me. For people from the GBP world it's quite a bargain.

They are a good price, but I didn't like the idea of cutting your chassis to get it in, the kit fits down under the alternator, so you lose your divers side fog light too, no big prob if your just after power increase

They seemed to have resolved the Aircon pipe work issues too

On this price you have import duty and shipping, it used to come with a 80 page DIY guide, plus you have the mapping side of things, whereas JHM have to map it, so don't know if they have improved this side of things

Wow, that is cheap! I say cheap, it's the price it should have been, the cost of supercharging these cars so far has been way over the top compared to some other cars. I'm pretty sure there is a good reason for it though.
How much would it cost to pay some pros to fit it for you?

I admit Vortech can be troublesome, however they're easy to get parts for and easily serviceable. At least the air filter is well out the way of the bumper - on my old VR it was far too low IMO, I know many who sucked up swimming pools and bent rods.

I think the biggest question is why don't JHM have a UK agent?

That way you would know the price and get answers to all your questions

You could ask MRC how much to fit one, they have seen the fitting instructions just ask Ben

Don't worry. He's basically saying it doesn't count if it's not in the UK, as Santa Pod is the main place on this side of the pond... Some people would call that racism... Would imagine Santa Pod would get similiar treatment on a forum with a predominantly U.S. based community.

Imola looks great on your saloon BTW. Are you happy with the stage 1 kit?
