There's a Premier Inn 5 minutes from MRC who do a <£50 room. I've done both the 3:30am start to get there for 8am and the Premier Inn and I prefer the hotel option now as it's a 1000% less knackering.

cheers for replies guys, i appreciate local hotel but would prefer the long haul home in one day adventure (not sure why)!!!

Car feel really good as it stands so would be pleased if they found some issues (vac) that would make it even better to what ive maybe got used too if that makes some sense as i cnat really appreciate how it will feel better with a map...

Will report back hopefully with good news next weekend!

It won't take you long travelling down at that time, the drives pretty straight forward. I travelled home at that time after installing a supercharger and nitrous on the car, was absolutely epic . Drive home will be a bastard the traffics pretty poor as expected around mid afternoon. It's a big ask to do both ways same day

I traveled over from Dublin to MRC, ferry over the night before, stayed in the Premier in next to MRC, then dropped the car off at 830am, got a lift back to the hotel, got kicked out around 1pm, walked down into the main town area and then back to the car that afternoon for the ferry home. Best decision i ever made on the RS4... other than buying one in the first place :biggrin3:
