Seen that Awesome Gti in Irlam have an offer on for 30% of all remaps including APR. Has anyone ever had an APR remap installed on there car? Cheers.

Apr Remap.

I think it's pretty popular with the US guys. Have a search on audizine in the RS4 section.

Word of warning though, they're quite opinionated on there, to put it mildly!

I don't think it's a great tune but it won't screw anything up either.

More than half the "gain" from any tune is removing the throttle angle limitation in the first 3 gears anyway.

I'd still pay a little more for something known to be very good.

APR option is very local for me in Scotland, the very good option of MRC as i have read isnt though. Be interested to hear some UK feedback on the APR option...

For similar money you can order a JHM tuning cable (low value for import) and their tune is flashed over the internet.

Definitely better than APR, on par with MRC imo. Mine is performing very well. But you need to lose the precats at a minimum.
