Ok so I've been in touch with Trups and he is keeping me right with what mods to go for.

However on my run home tonight the headlights decided to start hunting up and down while driving.
The fault buzzer sounded and the fault symbol appeared on the dash.

Anyone got any ideas what the issue is here? Your help is much appreciated.

Hi docurley

Can the levellers be bought separate do you know or are they part of the headlight?
Don't fancy buying a new set of headlights as I would probably have a heart attack at the price.

It would be part of the whole unit but I may have what you need has I have a box of headlight parts and I'm sure at least one has the motor.

Ok so had the car plugged in today and scanned. Came back with a fault on the lever sensor.

Where abouts is the lever sensor located? Would like to have a look before I go buying a new sensor. The car has just been in the garage for the timing chain replacement so I would imagine that this sensor would have been disturbed at some point.

There's always something.

Almost certainly the level sensor its on the near side front lower suspension arm they probably forgot to unplug it when engine removed or plug it back in when refitted

Cheers Dave. It's def plugged in as it's an intermittent fault. I'll have a look over the weekend and see what's going on.

Won't be fully burned in yet as probably 20 hours on them but I hope this helps.
