Ride height.

Post by chris_m » Sun Sep 27, 2015 2:46 pm

Just a query really. The suspension seems fine on the car but the back sits lower than the front. It did have a full tank at the time of the pictures but have noticed this regardless. The pictures aren't great either but any suggestions?

The car is on the standard original suspension as far as I'm aware too.

Cheers.

Same here, although mine is the breadvan. Not sure how much that contributes to rear end weight

I've got H+R stings in my saloon and it's the reverse to this. The back sits higher than the front. Actually looks higher than the standard setup based on your pics!!!!

That sounds unusual for H&R springs Ritchie. Do you have a picture of your car with them fitted?

Heres a pick of mine

You can see quite a big gap at the rear whereas the front sits about level with the arch!!!.

Im not sure if the kit that's on it might be for the breadvan or cab as I think they might be slightly different due to the extra weight at the rear!!!

mines on std suspension and sits like that too (have read numerous threads on here relating to ride heights and as far as I understand it accepted wisdom is that just the way they are)
