I thought this was supposed to have been bought privately not by a dealer. I wouldn't say it's that cheap for the miles+ it's had a hard life

Damn. Are these still at it. This dealer is a proper Dickwad. This outfit brought my sons B7 RS4 off him. They are proper blag artists. They come and portray that they are private buyers and spin you a story that they're really into track racing. Gonna be doing Nurburgring and this and that. Try and slate the car and steal the car for pennies. Fortunately we got what we wanted for his car which isn't a problem. But what we don't get is why spin a load of bull crap. Within hrs of the sale it was advertised on the website. Just don't get why they do what they do. Stupid people. Duh!!!! :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash:

So what happens with the V5 when these guys buy?
Are you guys happily completing the trader section or are these adding another owner (to continue the act of private purchasers) just to resell?

Thinking about it now. It was a strange situation cause IIRC they asked my son to do the trader section cause they were using their uncles trader insurance policy to drive the car and also using the trader bank account to put the funds into my bank. I even said. "Hey guys are you traders" and they swore blind they weren't. Don't ask it was quite a hectic transaction and I nearly told them to F**k off. One of the guys was a mahoosive mofo and would have needed a few hard digs to drop him. I got to say it was a proper weird and dodgy situation.

Hideous is a bit strong... Lol
It's actually very nice and good quality.

It was a strange transaction and I dealt with various people to make this sale.
I think Forum members also linked to this dealer posing as private buyers.
Tbh though the week leading up to collection I found out it might be going to a dealer... With some private transactions on wheels and plate..
Good for me in the end but will be missed.
Loved it.

I've had the opposite, obvious private buyers making out they are in the trade to try and buy the car cheap. Whats to gain by posing as private when your trade, I get why its done when selling but not buying.

It's a steep price. But not sure what your getting at?

Does it matter they're sealers if you get what you want for the car?

Sorry for my ignorance

Agreed - doesn't matter where the money comes from as long as it makes the seller happy!
