How much does a Carbon Clean Cost?

Post by rs4uk » Wed Aug 12, 2015 8:06 pm

Hi guys just wondered what the price of a carbon clean should be?

and does it involve removing the inlet manifold and replacing the gaskets?

If so i guess a Terraclean wont do the same job?

It's all more expensive in Sweden when it comes to performance cars, isn't it? I'm sure it's all relative though.

Stertman are a great outfit. Their B5 is a monster.

I opted for the full carbon clean at MRC and given that i was constantly having problems with sticking manifold flaps, i spent the extra money on a deflap which necessitates a remap. Then you start spending somewhere north of £2,000; Just don't tell my missus!

P.s very satisfied with result, 360PS on the way in, 430PS on the way out!

In Dallas $500 to $800, Seattle was $1000-$1400. Wow Swedish prices suck on mods and I speak from some experience being from there. We are lucky here, especially in Dallas where the car performance interest is huge hence prices great/very competitive.
