Re: wrapping?
I'll swap you my painted ones for your shiny ones? They're matte right now, but you'd be as well painting these rather than proper ones.
Should also add that mine were only painted because you just can't wrap the shape. It's too complex and all awkward curves, especially in about the two arms that hold the thing to the door.

Re: wrapping?
Have you had a look at the plasti-dip spray? Its basically a spray on wrap from what I can tell. I've been contemplating doing my window trims with it but I'm not the best when it comes to physically doing these sorts of things....

Re: wrapping?
yeah thats why I asked if anybody has had it done coz I thought those mirrors might be tricky to do martin..i think matt maybe better than gloss but need to have a long think coz it wont be just mirrors im doing.
never heard of that process mike and really wouldn't attempt to do myself coz im crap at things like that aswell

That looks pretty nice martin why you want to go back to silver
Re: wrapping?
Plastidip is brilliant I've used it for load of things . Only basic masking off is needed as the overspray just rubs off

Re: wrapping?
I need something to break up the dark... now the wheels aren't silver it's needing a highlight even more. I'm going to look into getting them painted back to matt silver, but a swap would suit me better if you'd be game?geordie jay wrote:That looks pretty nice martin why you want to go back to silver

Re: wrapping?
Personally I think they would look better painted the same colour as the body work.
