10.5 too wide?

Post by gilly » Wed Jul 29, 2015 8:44 pm

Just after peoples opinions: are 20×10.5 too wide for the car? 265 tyres are the minimum size tyre that will fit, ideally 275 should be used. What are peoples opinions on this?
Would they go with 20×9, 9.5, 10 or 10.5.
Anybody running any of the above widths?

Have you got any pics to see how they look? Are you on standard suspension or coilovers & are you running spacers?
Sorry for all the Qs , but I will be bringing these wheels back from the US & want to be sure they will fit.

Spec is 10.5 x 20's. KW V3 suspension, adjustable top arms. Inner lip on the front arches have been removed by a body shop.

I have had to cut a bit of the arch liner but it's so worth it

How can you miss the most important bit of the spec out

Offset :?:

The rim suits the mild stretch you have, not too 'euro'

The alloys I am thinking of have an offset of 32 but the bore is 66.6 so I know I need spigot rings to take them to 57.1.
