Insertion issue

Post by irn_bru_ce » Mon Jul 20, 2015 12:46 pm

Swapped my RNS-E with a 2012 unit, thought it was just a plug and play install until I tried to insert the sat Nav CD, as soon as it partially in the motors come on and it is trying to pull the disc in, but it only gets as fas as the hole in the disc.

Has anybody had the lid off of one these before, I imagine something just got jiggled out of place while the unit was being posted

+1

The top cover comes off fairly easily once you have the unit out and on a bench or table.
