Very good price for a charged car, especially a well looked after forum/enthusiast car.

What does a t ts charger cost ? Mapping was 1000 odd I seem to remember.

MRC are around £15k to supply and fit the TTS lit, don't remember if that includes mapping.

I'm sure they would map it in with that price.

I rationalised it to myself when I bought mine that I could turn the car back standard and sell the bits and not lose out. I never would - but I had to convince the missus.
In reality it's probably a lot of hassle. I'm sure it's probably been done.

I was thinking along those lines too but I feel it would be a real shame to 'break my car up' after making it into the awesome all round beast it is now. Plus I can't be arsed with the hassle.

Yeah I'm sure they will sell no problem. It's just a smaller market being a 30 k car as awesome as we all know they are when charged to an outsider they may go for something else, so I just wondered down the line if splitting would make an easier sell but then you have to revert the mapping etc so not worth it.

That wrapped gray one of plush s has been round the block so they must sell.

I thought about putting back to stock and selling the parts on but my realistic thoughts were this...

Standard B7 RS4 trade = £15/16k
Milltek Exhaust non res with valves... £750-1000
Decats - £150
200 cell cats - £750?
Used Charger £4k?
Think you would struggle to sell them all individually for the right money.

Alot of the money on the cars is in the mapping and new parts/ stuff that needs replacing when you do something like supercharge... I would say it would be madness to split.

If you're just talking wheels and exhaust then yeah putting a car back to standard makes sense, but heavy engine mods are never going to be worth the hassle of taking off. And I'd be after a lot more than £4K for the charger kit if for any reason it did come down to selling it.

Chap put a deposit down on Wednesday last week and is coming today to collect.

Have realised thoroughly over the weekend how much I will miss this car!

As an end note before I go forth onto 'new' cars etc... anyone who wants potentially the most impressive allround car that entertains so many characteristics...you should own a Supercharged B7 at least once.
