Misfire under full throttle

Hello,
I'm getting a misfire, noticeably in 6th gear when the revs get to around 3500 when peddle is right down! It's not a constant, there's no rethumn to it.
Any ideas? No warning lights on.
Thanks
Andy

Could be a number of issues but your usuall suspects are, Coil pack starting to loose the will to live, possible spark plug starting to fail, MAF sensor dirty or breaking down.
Is your car standard ? Have you had a remap ? What fuel are you using ?
Another possibility could be a vac leak
These are all things you can check by yourself with the minimum of mechanical nounce. Use the search function button and it can help you find all the info needed
I hope you get it sorted

Some sort of ignition break down under compression. Check your spark plugs and then coil packs.
VCDS should tell you which cylinder to check first.

Do you have vcd's?
First check if any faults show or they do not clear down
If they do clear down ie not showing any faults
Do a search on engine misfire/misfiring
I had the same thing and it took many hours to resolve
Any other things not quite right with the way in which it runs?
Good luck

Id start with a
VCDS scan, then a call to Audi to see if you missed the coilpack re-call campaign (you may well get a new set of coil packs for free)
It would be worth changing plugs also if theyve been in a while.

I've had this twice in last 3 months, most recently this week.

First one I've had since owning, 10k miles in...
I can cope with that tbh..

It's had coil packs, lambdas, maf - so hopefully it's gonna run sweet for another 10k minimum!
Was gonna sell it this summer but a couple TTs cars up for sale so not ideal.
Sorry OP - not meant to hijack
Hope it's an easy fix as above!
