20" Wheels but keeping with Original Style

I note there are 20" wheels on eBay that are same style as the original B7 alloys ...

Some are from Q5 and there's a set of ex TT rims.

Just want to confirm these are good to go with right?

i.e. 9 x 20 et25

Here are a set of et29, but to be honest I don't know if they're too big or not.

I'm also looking at various options for wheels at the moment...

yeah the ad is only for one wheel, but i believe that is the correct size / offset of OEM 20" wheel for B7 RS4 (Audi S5 20x9 et29 wheel),

Be careful though as some other Audi's have that same wheel in different offsets and you will have to run spacers, also if your car is lowered you might have to go down to 255 or 245 width on the tyres.

Spigot adapters will be needed also to step down from 66 to 57 center bore..

theres a few sets on ebay with suitable offset..

I have a genuine set of 20" speedline Lemans style alloys (same as B7 RS) with 9 x 20 et29 but the centre bore is 66.6 so they came off of a S5

you can buy adaptor rings to reduce the centre bore to 57.1mm so they fit perfectly on the RS4 with same offset & width

I haven't fitted them to my RS4 yet as I had them on my S5 but took them off before trading it in.... but plan to put them on when I get my 19's refurbished

I have this set up also & imo its the best! also lowered on kw v3's with 265/35's, 10mm rear & 8mm front spacers with no rubbing.

I agree that the 20x9 ET29 size offset with 255/30/20 tyres will work in the same way as the OEM wheel as it is a direct size comparison therefore it will rub as much or as little as your standard set up.
However, most people with OEM wheels like to add spacers to bring the wheels out slightly. So if you buy wheels with a lower offset they could make the need for spacers redunant. For example the ET25 wheels you mentioned will instantly give you the same effect as a 4mm spacer.
If you go for larger tyres then you *may* have rubbing issues (I assume TAB1S means 265/30 tyres and not 265/35) as a 265/30/20 will be higher and wider than a 255/30/20 tyre.
