Re: decisions black or chrome tips
i have black optics so when i got a custom exhaust made it was a no brainer to stay black tips,
If you have silver optics i would stay chrome tho, IMO

Obviously this is all personal opinion, and I'm batting for the other side on this one!!
I've always loved a polished pipe, even better a pair of fat ones!
I've got black optics and silver rims, the exhaust compliments them and the wing mirrors just nicely.
I've never liked too much black

cant beat a good polished pipe, change from the norm is good sometimes tho...Life would be boring if we all had the same ideas on how we want our cars to look... Stealthmode for a while for me

Re: decisions black or chrome tips
I think it just depends on personal opinion. My car is all black with black rims and has the black tips. I love it like that. I reckon the black tips would look nice on the grey car! But if you like a bit of bling! Go for the chrome

Black tips blend in too much with the diffuser IMO. Tips like that need to be seen.
Re: decisions black or chrome tips
I'm a fan of all black cars or all black optics, I can't stand any chrome on cars but the one bit of chrome I don't mind is the exhaust. Even on an all black car with black optics and badges I might still prefer a chrome exhaust.
This opinion changes every few months though so I think both can look good, it is very much a personal thing as already stated above.

Re: decisions black or chrome tips
I ordered my new Milltek with polished tips which was out of stock on back order, was offered black tip same price for next day delivery and took it, really happy with how it looks (and sounds although sound is not colour related lol) on a silver car. Have always preferred a shiny tailpipe in the past but this looks great and can see both sides now

Re: decisions black or chrome tips
I have had my alloys dipped a unique and slightly darker Gun Metal grey colour, and suddenly the chrome pipes looked out of place, so I had them changed to black, and it seemed to work much better. My car is black.
A sort of weird Silver/Grey/Black transition as you move your eyes over the car...I like it, but as most have said, its down to personal choice..
