Tubi Exhaust

Post by CharlieD » Sun May 24, 2015 1:28 am

Hey guys,

Ran out of patience waiting for Jules's exhaust so I found an alternative source on eBay and bought another set (will have 2 sets in the end!)

Only catch with the eBay one was that neither the seller or I know whether this is the "Rumore" version or not...

aside from fitting it to the car and hearing it, does anyone know if there is any way of telling? (I don't see any markings to indicate either way)

Gonna give em a good polishing tomorrow :smile_smoking: Obligatory photo...

im guessing it is, as I'm sure only the company is called tubi rumore and the exhaust has a separate name. my friend has a tubi rumore exhaust on his M3. besides the logo is on the backbox. im no expert but stick it on and revel in that sound

The company is called Tubi Style and they make a Rumore and non Rumore version of the exhaust.

The 2 different exhausts have different part numbers. I recall the part number on the packaging but I don't recall any part number on the exhaust itself. Is the definitely no markings on it?

Same with mine when I got it Mike. No part numbers on the parts only on the packaging.

I thought the loud version was only twin pipes?

Be interesting to hear the difference as mine was almost unlivable

When I bought mine there were 4 versions available, loud and less loud in both quad or oval tailpipes.
The Tubi website now lists 3 types;
Loud quad
Loud oval
Less loud oval

When you say you have two sets would you be willing to sell one?

It looks the same as mine which is the less loud version, but if both versions look the same then that isn't much help. Birdie you can give me a shout if you want to hear it some time.
