Wash routine was:

- Sonax wheel spray
- Bilt hamber snowfoam (using karcher k4 washer and eBay snow lance)
- Agitate wheels with 1" wheel brush
- Pressure wash the foam off
- Iron-X to lower panels
- 2x buckets and grit guards, lambswool mitt and Zaino Z1 wash for the handwash
- Pressure wash again
- Rinse with hose to sheet off as much water as possible
- Dry with a couple of microfibres
- Admire the reflections

Plans for the summer wheels (20"x10" Speedlines)...verdict?

My wheel dude: "You're definitely a grey man. You just get me to paint all your wheels grey!"

He has a point, I calculate I've had 15 wheels refurbished by him in the last year, of which 12 have been grey or anthracite! This will make it 17/20.

How about titanium outers and black centres? And then titanium mirrors?

Hey mate. Agreed on the mirrors, definitely need to get that done. I'm not a fan of a different colour outer and centre though.

Or are you just getting me to refurb them how you like for when you plan to buy them off me!?

I agree that the titanium finish better suits the 19" wheels, I have them on mine and think they look great against the black paint.
But i just think the 20" Speedlines suit the satin black finish more so than the titanium, it just looks a bit more special.

The wheels need a freshen up (stone chips and paint is a little dull close up), so leaving them as is won't really work. So repainting anyway, good excuse to change them up - decided I'm definitely going with the titanium. Hope it comes out like the photoshop!

They do look good in black, but on a black car with black optics and tinted windows, it's all a bit too much I think!
